ICSI Rm. Valcea carries out a series of relevant tests in the characterization of gaseous, solid and liquid fuels. Determination of the elemental composition for solid and liquid samples can be made by the dynamic combustion of the sample followed by reduction, capture, gas chromatographic separation and product detection by means of a TCD thermal conductivity detector in the CHNS-0: 0,01% (100ppm) – 100%. These analyses support both the assessment of fuel quality and the control of greenhouse gas emissions.
