Describe Project

  • Short presentation

The project that is proposed, through the demarche and his finality, will  achieve the development of a industry beginning with one nuclear through the direct applicability  of proposed research  concerning a Nuclear Detritiation Plant (NDP) of national interest .
The development of the project is based on knowledge of the incorporated maintenance as the new and important process, in the process of production through  the role on which has it on the life
of cycle
for the technical system NDP considered. It is proved the fact as for the nuclear enterprises, integrated maintenance is fundamental.

The project CONTMENT supposes a new conception concerning the management of maintenance based on models, methods, advanced at actual techniques at least to European level. It is necessary the adaptation of means to existing needs, the generation of a applicative, competitive and pre-competitive research activity, inclusive the valuation activity of the performances and conformity for maintainable nuclear technical system NDP as well as high technologies for monitoring, testing and analyses of predictive maintenance.

It results in ensemble perspective concerning the final foretold  result of the proposed  project that integrated maintenance based on reliability  can be generating and guarantor through  conception  proposed to achieve a dynamic quality, that is on measure of development of high  technologies for  technical specializations perceived in classic way, as being "down-stream" and "upstream" for maintenance, the integrated maintenance make possible  the simultaneity and the synchronization of the activities by technological top, through the operational feedback that will be created.

Objectives

  • General objectives

The general objective is constituted by the realization of a research network (CONTMENT) as fundamental necessity constituting a integrated and complex "plant" through experimentation and implementation at the nuclear installation of tritium extraction from heavy water (existing in operation stage at The National Institute of Research - Development for Cryogenics and Isotopic Technologies - ICSI Rm. Valcea, resulted from the CANDU reactors that are at CNE - Cernavoda).

The specific project is constituted by the maintenance of the detritiation installation  from ICSI, resulting the decrease risk of noxious radiations with tritium for personnel and environment.The research concerning the proposed demarche will represent a "plant" both as research, as applicabillity and for another systems for example from another complex installation such as CNE, ROMAG, etc., respectively for the reactor of fusion ITER for which we are partners  through the international project afferent of designing and achievement been carry on.

In the implementation context of CONTMENT, the value of chain designing - maintenance-service-end of life will be optimized, avouching the development of global performance and the satisfying of requests for three components  of base performance:

- Efficaciousness, in order to obtain result corresponding with the objectives;
- Efficiently, for the utilization very well and with care all the resources;
- Relevantly, for to support and realise achieves objective declared.

Each of these three objectives of globally performance come in a variety of criterions, depending on finding of solutions:
- Economic interest: Efficaciousness, add-value;
- Technical interest: Reliable, maintainability, availability, safe;
- Ecologic interest: Clean environment, recycle.

Regarding the appearance mentioned, the objective presented propose of research is to become a strong implication European in maintenance through the creation a excellent community to level national through the format consortium and penetration rapid in format consortiums European. This consortium will be promotes excellence in research of maintenance and applications industrial in the European - national aim of internal. The aim ambitious of consortium is the development a system of intelligent maintenance which form the framework of work for maintenance unification. The system will be elaborate differently approach, methodology, methods, models and tools of maintenance. This will implement a common strategy for production for the cycle of life of product/process. The system of intelligent maintenance will be integrated from the initial concept of projection up to the process of recycle. It will promote the research in the realization of progress for technological area, standard for industrial applications and education in the areas of monitoring condition, engineering of diagnosis and management of maintenance.

  • Objectives on stages

Stage I: The conception and the implementation of integrate maintenance in exploitation to Experimental Pilot Plant for the Separation Tritium and Deuterium what exist in functionary to ICIT, Rm. Valcea. The settlement methods used-up in the fundamental  decisions of integrated maintenance, competitive and compatible  used their  and appreciate on international plan ( to the level countries which are most performance concerning the area  of industrial maintenance). Study of conception, projection and realisation of a stand for cavitations and diagnosis.

Stage II: The assurance and administration of informational feedback typically of suggested strategies of integrated maintenance on during of life cycle of components technical systems from NPP. Realization integrated software date base maintenance with program of analyses structurally, analyse dynamically, geometrically modelling, software of predictive maintenance monitoring  on-line for NPP.

Realization stand for cavitations and testing sensors of vibration.

Stage III: Realization integration software  date base maintenance, program of analyses structurally, analyse dynamically, model geometrically, software of monitoring predictive maintenance.

Stage  IV: Study of settlement and achieves of exchange maintenance as specification to maintenance as the standardization in conditions efficiency realisation of suggested objectives.
