Laboratory for isotopic analysis - mass spectrometry, IR and densimetry
Laboratory for mass spectrometry has more than 25 years experience in researches regarding isotopic studies.
Laboratory experience in realization of such analysis it is prescripted by our partners which we have collaborated: Institute of Hydrology and Metrology from Bucharest, Geological
Institute from Bucharest, Geological Explorations Institute from Bucharest, Mining Institute from Valcea, National Company of Mineraly Water from Bucharest.
In this laboratory for mass spectrometry can be done D/H and O18/O16 isotopic analysis on liquid assay, on the same level like natural level. This analysis are accomplished
by 250 MAT VARIAN mass spectrometer which is special for radio isotopic measurements and authorized by Romanian Metrology System and Romanian Laboratoties Network RELAR.
Must be mentioned that the laboratory has participated to international intercalibration of Atomic Energy Agency from Vienna. Analysis are accomplished by repeating to international
standards established: SMOW, SLAP and GISP given by AIEA VIENA. Thus, the results can be transmissive to promoter in DELTA units (repeating on this standards) or absolutely value (ppm).
